DANCETHERAPY GROUP WITH PRIMITIVE EXPRESSION

Epineio - Ομάδα χοροθεραπείας με την Πρωτόγονη Έκφραση

The group will meet on a weekly basis, every Monday morning, at 11.30-13.00, at the Institute of Therapy and Education through Arts "Epineo" in Thessaloniki. It will start on Monday, October 14, 2019 and will end on Monday, March 30, 2020.

The method that will be followed is dance therapy through Primitive Expression, enriched by psychoanalytic thinking.

The aim of the group will be to create this space of expression where participants will have the opportunity to safely negotiate issues of self-knowledge and healing through art and artistic creation.

The group will remain open to new members during the first two meetings, October 14 and 21, and will then close and open from time to time in consultation with members.

The cost is 60 € / month, while for DRLST trainees 40 € / month.

The therapist
Marianna Drakopoulou is a Clinical Psychologist at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a research postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology-Psychopathology from the University of Rene-Descartes in Paris. She has been working since 2007 as a private individual in an individual office, while since 2011 she has been working at the Center for the Prevention of Addiction and the Promotion of Psychosocial Health (OKANA) in East Thessaloniki "Elpida". As an addiction prevention officer, she implements prevention interventions for students of all levels, in groups of teenagers, groups of parents, seminars and scientific supervision of teachers, interventions in the community, etc. She has been working as a dance therapist since 2007 with adult groups in Thessaloniki. She was a founding member of the DRLST Dance Therapists Training (based in Paris) in Greece in 2011, of which she is currently Pedagogically Responsible for Northern Greece. He has held dance therapy seminars for groups of actors as part of their training, while he has supervised kinesiology in two theatrical performances. She is also a dance and theater enthusiast. She believes that Art can be a form of therapy but more than that, a way of living.
Ως στέλεχος πρόληψης των εξαρτήσεων υλοποιεί παρεμβάσεις πρόληψης σε μαθητές όλων των βαθμίδων, σε ομάδες εφήβων, ομάδες γονέων, σεμινάρια και επιστημονική εποπτεία εκπαιδευτικών, παρεμβάσεις στην κοινότητα κ.α.
Ως χοροθεραπεύτρια εργάζεται από το 2007 με ομάδες ενηλίκων στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Υπήρξε ιδρυτικό μέλος της Εκπαίδευσης Χοροθεραπευτών της DRLST (με έδρα στο Παρίσι) στην Ελλάδα το 2011, της οποίας είναι σήμερα Παιδαγωγικά Υπεύθυνη για τη Βόρεια Ελλάδα. Έχει πραγματοποιήσει σεμινάρια χοροθεραπείας σε ομάδες ηθοποιών στα πλαίσια της εκπαίδευσής τους, ενώ επιμελήθηκε την κινησιολογική επιμέλεια σε δύο θεατρικές παραστάσεις.
