Performance in dramatherapy

The dramatherapist during a session has an active role in the dramatherapeutic activities. Sometimes he or she plays the role of a director or coordinator, while others exist in the therapeutic area as an observer/viewer. During this module, you will have the opportunity to play all these roles. In the first part, you will be taught the theories of the “role”, according to Robert Landy and David Read Johnson. In the second part, you will take on the role of the director working with the members of their class, directing a short theatrical event. The subject is of your choice and maybe a poem, a part of a text, your writing or not.
