Drama

In this module, we will explore practically and personally the drama element of dramatherapy. You will engage with various forms of drama and play, techniques from theatre schools such as the psychophysical one (J. Grotowski, P. Brook, M. Chekhov etc) and the ways that can be applied in a therapeutic process. Alongside, you will be introduced with Peter Slade’s method of personal and projective play and how you can take on a therapeutic role while playing.
This module provides a balanced combination of theory and experiential knowledge aiming to awaken the playful and creative instinct in the dramatherapist in order to be used in clinical settings for children, adolescents and adults.
